At Thrive Wellness Studio, Amy Draper-Poe, NP, offers a personalized, membership based approach to care that combines the best of primary care and integrative medicine- without rushed appointment, frustrations of traditional healthcare and outside of insurance constraints. Through integrative direct primary care, we're able to provide a more thoughtful, attentive, individualized experience.

No. Thrive Wellness Studio provides personalized care outside the traditional insurance model and does not bill insurance for services.
By eliminating insurance in our practice, we are able to focus on relationship-based care that is tailored to each patient. Our patients benefit from longer appointments, more direct access to their provider without insurance limitations. This provides a deeper level of integrative and/or primary care.
We require monthly memberships which can be paid monthly or in 3, 6 or 12 month increments.
Many of our services are eligible for payment using Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). We recommend verifying with your plan.
We highly recommend maintaining health insurance coverage. While your membership provides access to comprehensive primary care services at Thrive Wellness Studio, it does not replace insurance coverage for emergency care, hospitalizations, specialist visits, surgery or other major medical expenses. Many patients chose to pair their direct primary care membership (DPC) with a traditional health insurance plan or a high-deductible health plan for added financial protection.
Primary care visits are 100% included without any copays or hidden fees. Simple procedures such as ear wax removal, skin lesion removal, simple suturing, pap smears, annual physicals, sports physicals are included with your monthly DPC membership subscription. (Additional fees for some labs, in office testing, pathology, medications will apply if applicable).
You will have a provider who listens, doesn't rush and gets to know you. Yoou will receive a deeper level of care to address your needs, concerns and overall wellness.
You have access to your provider through office visits, phone calls, virtual visits and/or messaging as needed.
Contracts are not required, but we do ask that you commit to a 6 month DPC membership as meaningful healthcare takes time. Our model of primary care is built on relationships, follow-through, and consistency, not quick one-off appointments.
We are confident that once you experience the direct primary care difference, you will be highly satisfied.
However, there is NO cancellation fee, but we request a 30 day notice.
If you do cancel and then decide to re-enroll at a later date, we will require a $125 re-enrollment fee.
